The passion Heather brings to the bridal industry was developed early in her life through a love for sewing and a keen eye for fashion. After graduating from Clemson University with a degree in education, and a short time in the classroom, Heather decided to pursue a career in bridal. Her intimate knowledge of sewing, coupled with her taste and design ability, would serve her well as she opened Hayden Olivia Bridal in 2008. As a newcomer to the bridal industry, Heather immersed herself in both the business and design of the industry by working with some of the world’s leading US bridal designers. Many of these designers became personal friends and mentors and helped Heather deepen her knowledge of the business. The inspiration for Hayden Olivia Bridal stemmed from her own frustrating wedding dress experience. Heather aspired to bring the top designers to the Charlotte market, while giving brides the experience they deserve. The support of her husband Justin, sons Blane & Mason, and her daughter, Hayden Olivia, allowed her dream to become a reality. In Heather’s words, “All you need is love and a fabulous dress!”
