When choosing a gown at Hayden Olivia, brides benefit from several services and splurges made available to only our customers. A service offered and housed within our boutique that we are most proud of is the alterations studio directed and owned by master designer, Mai and her trained team that hold over 30 years experience in designing, pattern making, constructing and altering fine apparel and couture bridal gowns.

Gowns never leave Suite 200 therefore ensuring a strong peace of mind through the entire alterations experience. Mai offers on-premise appointments to ensure that you have the perfect fit and that we are able to address all of your specific alteration needs. Alterations often include adjusting the bust, customizing a perfect hem to compliment your fabulous shoes and creating a beautiful bustle, this being one of the most enjoyable parts of the process. Bustles can bring tears!

If you plan to shop at Hayden Olivia for your gown, but aren’t able to travel back to Charlotte for alterations, we are happy to provide reputable suggestions although this is our last resort. We feel that alterations are a significant part of your gown experience therefore we want to be apart of the final touches which means taking advantage of Mai’s highly lauded alteration services. Appointment times for her services book a few months in advance and Saturday alteration appointments are first come first serve and can book 12-14 weeks in advance.
