Once your gown is complete and arrives to the boutique, you will be invited to book a First Look Appointment. This is the appointment where brides have the opportunity to try on their gown for the first time and put their entire wedding day look together for the first time. This is also a great time to consider additional accessories and possibly choose other wedding wardrobe dresses, robes and celebratory accessories.

When you find your gown, your favorite people won’t want to miss that moment! Finding the one and then inviting people to a second appointment is anti-climactic and looses the authentic nature of the first. Plan to bring the decision makers who will help you feel confident in saying yes! If someone can’t join you, we can facetime them. There is nothing like matching a bride with the gown that embodies her personal style and checks all of the boxes for what she envisioned wearing on her wedding day!

Your gown shopping experience will be unlike any other dress shopping experience, and we are honored you chose Hayden Olivia. Here are answers to our most asked questions- cheers to choosing your gown!
Our curated selection of bridal gowns range in price from $3500 to $10,000 with most gowns falling between $4000 and $7000. Our Designer Gallery details price range. *Please note our website features a sampling of gowns and does not include all

How Much Can I expect to Pay for a Gown at hayden Olivia?
We kindly ask for a scheduled appointment to ensure the availability of a dressing room and personal styling consultant. It is important to us that every bride feels special, taken care of and never rushed. The only way to accomplish this with every single bride we get to work with is to require an appointment ahead of time.
Do I need to book an appointment & how long will my appointment be?
Once engaged, gown shopping for “the dress” immediately is best. An ideal time to begin is 9-12 months ahead of your wedding. In light of supply chain/Covid delays, we welcome up to 14 months prior if your timeline allows. Allowing plenty of time and brining
those who's opinions matter most ensures the process is calm,
stress-free and most importantly, fun.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY FIRST APPOINTMENT AND ORDER MY GOWN?
We suggest you wear Nude-coloured undergarments for your appointment. A strapless bra is often useful (even if you bring it along in your handbag!). Opting for minimal makeup and no spray tan makes taking the dresses on and off much easier and we thank you! This allows for us to keep our gowns in like-new condition!
WHAT UNDERGARMENTS SHOULD I WEAR TO MY BRIDAL APPOINTMENT?
Most brides find too many opinions can be confusing and make the process more overwhelming than it needs to be. We believe it's best to keep the focus on you and only you. We suggest bringing up to three of those you love, who understand your personal style and whose opinions matter the most. The rest of the bridal party and friends can be surprised on your big day!
WHO SHOULD I BRING TO MY BRIDAL APPOINTMENT?

We care about your experience, one that is stress-free and comfortable. This means having a broad range of sample sizes. Sizes range from 8-22 with the majority of our dresses sizes 10-14. However with 13+ years of experience, we have several super-clever ways to show the true fit of each dress even if our sample or designer's sample doesn’t quite fit.

CAN I FIND ACCESSORIES AT HAYDEN OLIVIA?

We are sensitive to this very popular topic. Every bride wants to look their best therefore this means brides’ sizes and shapes can change. We maintain a close relationship with our preferred seamstresses who can help advise. Should you choose to size down based on your diet and exercise, brides sign off on the size that they choose for their gown order.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I LOOSE WEIGHT AFTER I ORDER MY GOWN?

At the conclusion of choosing your perfect gown the next step is finalizing all details, completing your gown purchase paperwork and processing your gown purchase deposit. A 50% non-refundable deposit enables us to order your gown with the designer. The balance of the dress is due 30 days prior to arrival when your gown is near completion and ready to ship from the designer to Hayden Olivia Bridal.
HOW DO I PURCHASE MY GOWN?

Once your gown arrives you will be contacted to book a First Look/Styling Appointment at the boutique. This is when you will try on your gown for the first time. We can help with alternation suggestions/questions and consult when choosing and ordering final accessories to complete your wedding day look. This is also when you will take your gown with you or arrange a collection date closer to your first fitting appointment.
WHAT HAPPENS ONCE MY GOWN IS READY AND SHIPS FROM MY DESIGNER?

For over a decade, Mai’s Alterations was housed within Hayden Olivia. We are excited to announce Mai now has a beautiful studio on Central Ave just 10 min from the boutique. Her team holds over 30 years experience in designing, pattern making, constructing and altering fine apparel and couture gowns. Mai will advise on number of fittings required however its best to plan for two fittings.
WHAT DO I DO FOR ALTERATIONS AND HOW MANY FITTINGS WILL I NEED?

Once you’ve collected your dress from Hayden Olivia and taken it to the seamstress for your alternations, your dress can be left in the safe hands of the seamstress until you’re ready for your final fitting. Your dress will be steamed, pressed and hung carefully in a breathable heavy duty gown bag for travel to your wedding day destination.
