Although no definite date has been confirmed in regards to the upcoming nuptials of Kim Kardashian and NBA star Kris Humphries, it has been reported that the much anticipated event will be taking place within the next two weeks, most likely August 20th. It has also been announced that Kim’s gown will be custom designed by long time family friend, Vera Wang, who also designed sister Khloe Kardashian Odom’s wedding gown.

Although not the official designer of the gown that will show off those world renowned curves, Anne Barge, along with several other well-known designers, has submitted a sketch of a gown that she believes fits Kim’s body type and style. “I wanted to evoke Kim’s high-fashion sense of style and marry it with a gown that screamed bridal, not eveningwear,” says Anne Barge. Her vision: a mermaid fit, trimmed in ivory French lace and embellished with organza petals and beading. The gown as a soft feminine style with a sexy silhouette that will show off Kardashian’s famous assets.
